The company

Bulldog started in Houston in 2008 installing monitored home security. Eighteen years later it protects more than 30,000+ homes and families, holds an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau as an accredited business, and is the #1 ADT Authorized Dealer in Texas. Growth came the unglamorous way: crews showing up, installations passing inspection, monitoring that works at 3 a.m.

The company also operates a Texas-based contact center and an in-house utility coordination division, Utilities+, both described on the capabilities page. Contract work through BDS Government Services is backed by the 200+ employee Bulldog Security Services organization and its eight offices across Texas and Florida.

Tray Cassels

Chief Executive Officer & Co-founder

With more than 20 years of sales-management experience, Tray partnered with Luke to build Bulldog from the ground up. From knocking on doors to developing the company's affinity programs, he has worn many hats over the years, and today he oversees operations for the entire company. He is smart, strategic, and detail-driven, but he is best known among the staff for caring about his people. Tray embodies a work-hard, play-hard approach to life; he and his wife Amy of 15 years prioritize time together with their three children.

Luke Elwood

President & Co-founder

Luke is a seasoned security professional with more than 20 years in the industry. He began his career in an entry-level position and today leads the #1 ADT Authorized Dealer in Texas. A natural leader, he treats everyone with respect, leads by example, and sees his employees as an extension of his own family. He is assertive, strategic, and forward-thinking, staying involved in the day-to-day while charting the company's path for the future. Married to his high school sweetheart, Luke and his family enjoy travelling the country together.

Reggie Fikes

Chief Revenue Officer

Reggie brings more than 20 years of sales, business development, and executive leadership experience to BDS Government Services. Throughout his career he has built and led high-performing teams across technology, telecommunications, managed services, and security-related industries, with a reputation for developing people, building strong customer relationships, and turning growth strategies into results. As Chief Revenue Officer, Reggie leads Bulldog's government growth strategy, working directly with federal, state, and local agencies as well as prime contractors and strategic partners. His focus is expanding Bulldog's proven commercial capabilities into the government market while building long-term relationships based on responsiveness, accountability, and trust. An entrepreneur as well as a sales leader, he previously built a company from the ground up and successfully sold the business — an experience that continues to shape his leadership philosophy: take care of your people, do what you say you're going to do, and never lose sight of the customer. Originally from Michigan and now proud to call Texas home, Reggie is a lifelong sports fan who enjoys college football, traveling, reading, and mentoring others.

Insurance & bonding

Bulldog is not currently bonded. Where a solicitation requires bid, performance, or payment bonds, opportunity-specific bonding is obtained through a surety before proposal submission.

Certificates of insurance, including certificates naming your firm as additional insured, are available on request.
